Important Reminder: Due to the COVID-19 health crisis and in compliance with health experts and authorities, CAMTC is conducting modified operations and is not currently sending or receiving physical mail or packages. If you request additional original CAMTC Certificates and CAMTC ID Cards, CAMTC will process those requests after normal operations have resumed. We are not processing these requests at this time.

All CAMTC Certificate Holders will need to click here to register the first time using the new website in order to complete an Online CAMTC Recertification Application.

Please note that some account information is currently under construction. All CAMTC Certificate Holders will receive an email once they are able to login and view their status. Please contact our Customer Service Department with any questions about your login at or call (916) 669-5336.

If you are already registered for this new site, click here to login and go to your dashboard. On your dashboard you will be able to view your CAMTC Certification information. Also on your dashboard, you must update your contact info and add work addresses within 30 days of changes, as required by the Massage Therapy Act. When it's timely, you can easily login to your dashboard to simply apply for CAMTC Recertification online. 

Paper Applications are available only by email to, but no credit card numbers or credit card information may be included with the email as those emails will be deleted/destroyed. Use only the CAMTC Application for Recertification in English. CAMTC Applications submitted by email will take more time to process. The most expedient method is to register on this webpage, login, apply and make a payment via your Dashboard

You can simply login to your dashboard to apply for CAMTC Recertification online. Payment by Credit Card: Online Applications can only be paid by credit card. 

Payment by Other Methods: Temporarily paper Applications are not available. Please note that CAMTC can ONLY accept payment via a credit or debit card online via your dashboard at this time.

CAMTC recommends that you do not email credit card information. To pay the CAMTC Recertification Application processing fee by credit card, please contact our Customer Service team on the same day that you submit your completed Application form. Call the CAMTC Customer Service Department at 916-669-5336 between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. 

A CAMTC Certification support team member will respond to your email and let you know that your Application was received. That person may also inform you if additional information is needed.

Remember that CAMTC Certificate Holders may apply for CAMTC Recertification three months prior to his or her expiration date. Only as a courtesy, CAMTC may send notification to you by email and regular mail, reminding you of the need to recertify. Failure to receive a reminder notification does not waive your responsibility to submit a fully completed CAMTC Recertification Application and ensure that it is 'received' by CAMTC (not postmarked) at least 60 days before the expiration date listed on your CAMTC ID Card. 

Please make sure that you have updated your contact information as required by California State Law, including your phone number, primary email address, home address and each workplace address, within 30 days of any changes. This will help to ensure that you receive a reminder of your need to recertify.  

CAMTC Certificate Holders who have submitted a completed CAMTC Recertification Application that is 'received' by CAMTC at least 60 days before expiration, and without any background issues, should have a new CAMTC Certificate and CAMTC ID Card mailed at least 5 days prior to the date of expiration.

If your CAMTC Certificate and CAMTC ID Card have not reached you by 10 days of email notification that your CAMTC Recertification has been approved, please contact CAMTC at or call (916) 669-5336.

Original CAMTC Certificates are required by California State Law to be displayed at each workplace location. Photocopies are not acceptable. If you have ordered extra Original CAMTC Certificates, they might be mailed separately.

The two-year CAMTC Certification fee. Failure to submit a fully completed CAMTC Recertification Application that is 'received' by CAMTC before the expiration date on your CAMTC Certificate will result in a late fee of $50 - $180 if the CAMTC Recertification Application is received by CAMTC within 18 months of your CAMTC Certificate expiring.

The following Late Fee Schedule is is based on the length of time between when the completed CAMTC Recertification Application is received by CAMTC, and after the Expiration Date on your CAMTC ID Card:

1 to 10 Days After Expiration:  $50.00

11 to 29 Days After Expiration:  $80.00

30 Days to 18 Months After Expiration: $180.00

If a fully completed CAMTC Application for Recertification is not 'received' by CAMTC within 18 months of your CAMTC Certificate expiring, you will be required to apply for CAMTC Certification as a new applicant, and you will have to meet all of the requirements for CAMTC Certification that exist at the time your new Application is received by CAMTC. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES CAN THIS POLICY BE WAIVED.
